Other than brushing my teeth, the other thing I do daily is to go out for a run or walk. At first it was to get the body moving, but I realize it became more about reconnecting with nature, seeing the sky, smelling the trees, touching the grass.
From recent conversations with sellers, buyers and renters, builders and architects, priorities and needs have certainly shifted. Second home-office space, having your own outdoor space is on the higher rung of importance in the home now. Luckily, even though Toronto is Canada’s most urban city, it’s still arguably one of greenest.
How can we include more nature into our homes in an elegant and integrated way? Some prime examples are found in the heart of Swansea whereby Architect David Peterson has incorporated trees, green roofs and brought the outside to the inside of the home like you’ve never seen before.
