It felt SO GOOD to party again — to get out of the house, mingle over a beverage & hors d’oeurves and see a whole bunch of people together all at once. Yes, I indulged as I did that TWICE this past week:

 

It was a really such pleasure to host an outdoor soiree for my son’s birthday party by inviting his friends — & mine, in addition to attending red-carpet platinum pre-construction event where I got to re-connect with my realtor colleagues in a fun and formal setting once again.

 

The demand real estate hasn’t stopped, and the launch parties for Pre-Construction have come back. Those who decided not to buy real estate today, are increasingly looking to buy real estate for tomorrow by investing in pre-construction instead.

 

For as long as I’ve been a realtor, investing in pre-construction was always lucrative. For example, if you purchased a pre-construction unit in Yorkville for $389k several years back (which was considered VERY expensive, then), you could have easily assigned / sold it for close to $600k today. This is one of the easiest & quickest ways to turn $78k into $211k.

Investing in pre-construction is like purchasing futures in stocks, but bigger gains and much safer investment in my opinion. Keep in mind that purchasing pre-con is a totally different beast altogether…the TIMING of when you buy is key. (TIP: you get the best deal when you buy before the price list and floor plans are released).
